Although originally from Detroit, Harmony Muzik has quickly earned a name for herself in the D.C. Indie music scene where she lives. Soulful Motown riffs and razor sharp lyrics, over hard-knocking Hip Hop beats, have become Harmony Muzik’s signature ‘Urban Pop’ sound. Recently named the 2010 Original D.C., Maryland, and Virginia Music Award winner for Best R&B Artist in Virginia, this former Marine Corps Corporal is ready to take on the music industry from within the nation’s capital.

Harmony Muzik recently released her first full length album, The Masquerade. With a show of edgy dance tracks and club bangers featuring the DMV’s hottest artist like Whitefolkz, Madam Madon, K-Beta, & Pro’Verb. The Masquerade has become one of the area's favorite Independent releases this summer.

With over 100 shows under her belt since 2008 when she debuted her Freedom EP, Harmony Muzik has performed in D.C., New York, Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, Detroit, and Baltimore to name a few.  Known for her unique stage presence, energy, and connection with the audiences, Harmony Muzik is a humble, yet confident entertainer.  Already this year, Harmony has performed at DC’s Caribbean Carnival, CASRAM, SXSW Music Conference in Austin, and the 2010 Original DMV Music Awards.

Harmony Muzik has been featured in numerous online magazines and blogs, FM and internet radio shows, and print publications including; The Washington Post, The Washington City Paper, The Potomac News, and the semi-annual Alumni Magazine for the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA.  Additionally, with the help of Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, Reverb Nation, and various other social networking sites, Harmony Muzik has rapidly built a fan base to reckon with.
